Viscal Development Corporation, is a private family corporation primarily engaged in retail business. It owns and operates a chain of department stores and supermarkets popularly known as Metro.
Incorporated in 1981, Metro opened its first department store and supermarket in 1982. Its inception was through the vision of the late Sir Victor Gaisano, a seasoned retailer and on of the revered members of the Gaisano Family. The Gaisano's owned and managed the former white gold department store, the first department store and supermarket in Cebu. White Gold lasted for 30 years and became the largest of its kind since its establishment in 1949. With the help of his wife, Sally Gaisano, and four children - Margaret, Jack, Edward and Frank, Victor Gaisano envisioned a department store and supermarket that will offer quality and a variety of merchandise in a friendly atmosphere and at prices that are highly competitive and reasonable. Metro's business operations were shaped and influenced by the combined experiences of the Gaisano family in the retails industry. It has an aggressive advertising and promotion strategy which calls for constant visibility in print, radio and television throughout the years. It enjoys the partronage of all types of customers and is the leading retail store in Cebu.
Project Managers
Qualifications:
- Licensed Engineer or Architect
- Must have at least 5 years diversified experience in construction and project management for supermarket and department stores.
- Very good leadership and communication skills
- Willing to be asigned outside Cebu during project implementation
- With good moral character
- Not more than 40 years old
Qualifications:
- A graduate of any of the following courses: BS Math, BS Physics, BS Hotel & Restaurant Management; BS Industrial Engineering: BS Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Electronics & Communications Engineering; BS Architecture, BS Physical Education, BFA in Advertising Arts or Interior Design, AB Mass Communication, LIACOM, and/or Commerce
- Must be an Honor Graduate
- Must possess very good communication and leadership skills
- Active in school and/or social and civic organizations and activities
Qualifications:
- Must be a bachelor's degree holder of any four year course
- Preferebly with at least a years experience in retail (either department stores or supermarket) or in any related business
- With strong customer service orientation and leadership potential
- Female, not more than 30 years old
Qualification:
- BS Hospitality Management graduate with excellent scholastic records
- With at least 1-2 years supervisory experience in a Food or Hotel and Beverage Industry
- With high customer orientation
- Female, not more than 35 years old
Qualifications:
- Must be a CPA
- High analytical, keen to details and can work in a fast paced work environment
- Female, not more than 30 years old
Qualification:
- BS Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering Graduate
- Proficient in PHP, SERVLET, VB, JSP, UNIX, AS400 and Windows Applications
- Not more than 28 Years old
Qualifications:
- AB Mass Communication, AB LIACOM or BS Marketing graduates with good scholastic records
- Personable, Sociable, with above average oral and written communications
- Not more than 30 Years old
Qualifications:
- BS Fine Arts Major in Interior Design Graduates
- Young, Dynamic, & talented very good scholastic standing
- Willing to be trained in-house for retail advertising in visual merchandising
